How the training works
Eight steps from signing up to the state exam. Everything except the state fees is included in the course price.
- Health certificate
From your family doctor or through Liikluslab. Without it the school cannot register you as a student — the trial lesson needs no certificate.
- Training contract
Signed digitally, so there is no need to come in. Learners under 18 need a legal representative's details for the contract.
- Theory
In the Liikluslab e-learning environment at your own pace, plus three web lectures.
- Driving starts after 30% of the theory
That means the first three chapters. Starting earlier would spend a driving lesson explaining theory.
- First aid course
Part of the training and included in the price. Dates and sign-up.
- Skid and night driving training
Both included. We arrange the skid session after about ten driving lessons and tell you when the night session takes place.
- At least 30 driving lessons
The legal minimum for category B; the skid session, the night session and the school exam are counted within it. Lessons start from the Kadaka Selver car park.
- School exam and state exams
After the school's driving exam we mark the course complete — without that no Transpordiamet slot can be booked. A passed theory exam is valid for one year.
How long does it take? The law says a basic-stage course may not be shorter than four weeks. The usual pace is twice a week, which works out at about seven weeks. Everyone learns at their own pace, and a long gap between lessons takes confidence away.

How long does the B course take and how often are the lessons?
On average 2–3 months, depending on your schedule and how often you take lessons. If needed we can put together a faster plan — an intensive course, for example.
Is the trial lesson free, and how do I join?
Yes, the trial lesson is free. Fill in the form on the home page or write to us. We get in touch within one business day and agree a time.
Do you help me prepare for the state exam?
Yes. Structured preparation, exam-like drives and feedback. Our learners in Tallinn have a markedly higher first-attempt success rate than the local average.
Can I pay for the B-category course in instalments?
Yes. We offerinstalmentpayment — usually in2–5 parts. We agree the exact schedule when you register, so that it fits your budget.
Can I take extra lessons, and how are they priced?
Of course. Extra lessons and their prices are in the price list. We recommend 1–2 extra sessions before the state driving exam if you feel unsure.
Can I get my money back if I change my mind?
Yes. If you tell us before the second driving lesson, you get the full amount back within 14 days, except 50 € for theory. We do not ask why. The certificate of completed training is free.
